Digital Screen Calibration & Colorimetric Approximation Notice

Paint Undertones Guide provides architectural color guidance and digital colorimetric simulations. Sherwin-Williams®, Benjamin Moore®, and Behr® are registered trademarks used nominatively for descriptive reference under fair use doctrine.

Color chips, RGB Hex values, and daylight metamerism simulations rendered across Paint Undertones Guide are computational approximations based on spectrophotometric drawdowns under CIE D65 illuminants. Digital displays vary significantly in color gamut (sRGB, Display P3, Adobe RGB), brightness, white balance, and contrast.

Mandatory Physical Sampling Requirement: You must always test physical paint sample chips or peel-and-stick samples (such as Samplize) on your actual walls under the specific lighting conditions of your home prior to ordering custom-tinted gallons. Custom-tinted paint cannot be returned. Paint Undertones Guide assumes no liability for coating mismatches resulting from digital-to-physical variance.

Nominative Fair Use of Brand Trademarks

All references to Sherwin-Williams®, Benjamin Moore®, Behr®, and specific paint color names (e.g., Alabaster, Accessible Beige, Repose Gray, Iron Ore) are strictly for informational and comparative identification purposes under the nominative fair use doctrine of United States trademark law.
